Denis Ducimetiere 1951-2012

Denis Guy Ducimetiere, 61, of Great Falls, passed away July 23rd, of natural causes, at his home. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 4 p.m. at Croxford Funeral Home; 1307 Central Ave. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home.
Denis was born February 3, 1951 to Albert and Renée Ducimetière in Geneva, Switzerland. He was raised in Haule Savoie, France. He joined the French Navy. His first marriage was to LaVonne Emerson in France. They later divorced. In 1991, he married Karen Wryn in Coeur D’ Alene, ID. He was a restaurant manager in Billings and Great Falls at Sambos, owned two restaurants in Geneva, Switzerland, and his last position was held at NEW, where he was known as Pierre. Denis loved to play RC planes. He was an avid skier and traveling was a big part of his life. He loved the outdoors and camping.
Denis is survived by his wife Karen of Great Falls; his parents Albert and Renée of France; daughters Nicole Butler of Las Vegas, NV, Leslie Parks of Bellingham, WA, Jeanna Redfern of Great Falls; sons Jean-Denis Ducimetière of Great Falls and Jon Ducimetière of Lewistown; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother Didier Ducimetière.
