I've been too busy to take any photos. Gasp!
In a little more than 24 hours we are leaving for a little trip. The kids are staying here, my mother is flying in to take care of them. She said she was looking forward to a break. Hmmm, I'm looking for a break as well and am leaving my kiddos for that break. Different definitions.
I have been trying to tie up loose ends here at home. I was going to send clothes back with my mother for my nephews but after spending a few hours going through the boys closet I realized that she couldn't bring that much stuff. I've noticed that Job has been growing lately and he needed pants that actually covered his shin. We always celebrate the fact that he has outgrown his clothes. It doesn't happen often. For Isaac, I will see something on sale like at Old Navy or something at Costco and pick it up for later. So I have things stored in a bin. Isaac's too small clothes usually go into a bin to wait for Job. Sometimes two years! This year was different. There were some clothes that went from Isaac straight to Job. Boy are we happy.
Yesterday I tackled the refrigerator. I pulled everything out, cleaned the drawers, shelves, and walls. Found things that I never use but people brought and left and combined salad dressing bottles of the same kind.
I've in the process of washing all the clothes today and the sheets tomorrow before we leave. Nine loads of laundry. I have my mother's Birthday/Christmas present that I'm wrapping. I have the list of activities the kids are involved in with times and places and maps of how to get there. I have a list of activities if they get bored or want to get out of the house.
Children worker schedule for church should be out this Sunday at church.
All camera cards are downloaded, empty and ready for the trip.
My roots have been colored (very important - this was the in the top 5 things to get done) and hair cut.
I'm hoping to have the house clean tomorrow. John will set out his stuff to be packed tonight while I'm at Awana and I'll finish packing tomorrow after school.
I hope I'm not missing anything.
