Today has been an incredible day filled with adventure and wonder. We started our morning at the marina, where we met up with our crew and set out to explore the beautiful sea. Our captain for the week, Iker, was enthusiastic and passionate about sailing, which was contagious and made us all excited to embark on this journey.

We spent the morning getting to know our boat, a 45 ft sailing vessel, and learning about all of its nooks and crannies. We stowed away provisions, all the while being assessed by our captain for our ability to listen, take instructions, and work together. Once we were ready, we departed from the marina and headed out to sea.

As we sailed along the coastline, we were treated to an amazing display of nature. We spotted a small humpback whale and were able to follow it along with a larger whale as they jumped and played in the water. I took out my camera and spent an hour capturing the beautiful sight.

Eventually, it was time for us to learn how to sail and make our way to our destination. We had a bit of trouble with our bearings, but our captain skillfully guided us to our anchorage for the night, a secluded cove called Caleta Lobos.

As we settled in for the night, we were treated to the peaceful sound of waves lapping against the hull and the company of pelicans fishing in our anchor light. It was a magical end to a truly amazing day.

I can hardly believe that all of this happened in just one day. It has been an unforgettable experience that I will treasure for a lifetime.
