Soccer Day

We had an 8 am game. Isaac's team lost 4 to 2. Unfortunate. When his team passed the ball and stopped playing each other along with the other team, they did great. But they just couldn't keep it together. Next weekend. Isaac had an awesome assist. He was in the right position, was passed the ball, dribbled it up the field, passed the ball into the middle, it hit another players foot and Jimmy, a teammate shot the goal. They were playing their positions and thinking of what they should be doing. It was beautiful. I was happy.
Job's team played 4 games in an hour. When Job turns it on, he is a really good player. He has just kind of hung back but today, I told him that I would take him to Starbucks for chocolate chaud. He got in there and started using his body and elbow to shove players, took the ball away, dribbled down the field and shot. A boy on the other team dove for the ball and wrapped his arms around the ball to keep it from going in the goal. We counted it as a goal anyways. We call it interference.
At home, Lona quickly picked up so that she could help make brownies for Job's birthday party. We have a few kids coming to ride bikes and have a whipped cream fight. I'm going to upload photos later tonight.
