Now that soccer is done we have our Saturday mornings back.  This morning I begged John to let sleeping children lye.  He wanted to get them up at 7:30!  They need to catch up on their sleep I responded.  He realized the wisdom of my words and let the kids sleep for another 30 minutes before making enough racket to wake our neighbors.  One thing our kids love to do is cuddle together and have John read to them.  He reads a Patrick McManus book to them.  One of their favorite stories is about meeting Rancid Crabtree.  "Please, Please, Please" they chorus.  So while I make french toast John and the kids stack like gerbils and listen to John read.



I love the interaction of everyone.

Parce que le footballe est fini pour le moment, nous avons notre samedi pour nous encore.  Ce matin, je demande a John de laisser les enfants dormir.  Il lui veut se reveiller a sept heure et demi du matin.  Ils ont besoin de dormir plus.  Apres 30 minutes, il fais du bruit de se reveiller notre voisin et les enfants entre la cuisine.  Notre enfants aime de s'asseoir et ecouter aux histoires.  "S'il vous plait, lisez a nos"  les enfants lui demandent.  Ils aiment des histoires de Patrick McManus.  Alors quand je fais le petite dejeuner, John lis un histoire a Job et Lona.
