Job works for the IT department at the largest Coast Guard base in the United States, located on Kodiak Island. The base serves as a hub for cutters and aircraft, highlighting the island's strategic importance in maritime operations. During our visit, we were able to tour the base, visit Job's office, and observe helicopters taking off for training and rescue operations. Though it is the largest base it is a quiet one, with families and guardsmen enjoying the activities of the island.
