Soccer Saturday week 4

By Leslie Parks - Tuesday, April 14, 2009

Saturday was the half way point for our soccer season. The run down of the day.

9:00 Lona's game - she scored a goal! Her team plays four games in an hour and they won or tied their games.

(If you look hard, Lona has just kicked the ball and it is in the air. She's wearing a bandanna.)

11:45 Isaac's game - they lost. The team was from Lynden and was really good at passing. I think it was 1 to 3. Not too bad. Need to work on passing instead of holding onto the ball. Isaac is a great mid-fielder it turns out.

3:00 Job's game - they won. Job worked his heart out and then was wiped out. He's a great little defender and had a couple of assists.

For each game we are out there about 20 to 30 minutes before game starts and usually there chatting for 30 minutes afterwards. That makes about 5 to 6 hours at the field. If that wasn't enough soccer, we watched the Sounders play.
This week Isaac is in a developmental soccer camp. Every night from 5 to 8 pm.
Lona is not practicing because she injured her foot some point in time and needs to stay off of it for a week, unless the radiologist says otherwise.
Job is on track for his practices and game.
Yes I still love my new camera.
