Ornaments

The kids and I did a super fun craft this year.  I can't remember where I saw the link but it was easy.  I went to Michaels and bought clear glass ornaments.  The kids tipped them upside down and place them on an upside down egg carton. This way the ornament doesn't roll around.  Then you dip a dowel in paint and place polk-a-dots all over the ornament.  We used three different colors.  Wait until it dries. Meanwhile stamp and cut out a Merry Christmas tag.  Attach it with glue dots to the ornament.  Fill the ornaments with this fake buffalo snow glitter.  Tye a ribbon in a bow to the top of the ornament and some string to hang it on the tree.  We did add a flower embellishment to the tag and volia, c'est fini.  Of course Job can't follow rules and used the end of the dowel to paint three sections of the clear ornament a different color.  No polk-a-dots.  You can't see the fake snow.
Note to self:  purchase enough buffalo snow because a week before Christmas Michael's puts all their Christmas crafts away and there isn't any to be found.  Bummer.
