Have you ever gone to Pioneer Park? Well, if you get the chance to go especially with a school group it is totally worth it. We showed up and were split into groups of eight or nine. Every where we went, the boys and girls had to line up into two lines, one for girls and one for boys. The boys had to wait for the girls to enter first. The girls got to do everything first. We visited the post office and cancelled a stamp, the school room where we used chalk and slate, nib pens and quill pens. We went to the grannery and ground wheat and corn, learned about felling trees and plowing the land. We went to the Sheild's house and learned how candles were made and made some ourselves. Then onto Jenni's house. Here the boys were sent out to do chores of planting corn, chopping wood and fetching water. The girls worked in the kitchen grinding flour and making bread. Finally we arrived at the church, sat in pews and listened to a story. The bread was done baking and was passed out to kids and mothers.
